Thank you for viewing the dogs we currently have available for adoption. Most of these dogs are homeless dogs rescued by Save A Pet from the Monroe County Animal Control, our local municipal animal shelter. Some are owner surrenders from residents of Monroe County, as well as surrounding counties, when space permits.

Unless otherwise noted, our adoption fee is $200. This is a donation that covers the costs of vetting (shots, heart worm medication, spay/neuter costs, etc.) and housing the animals we take in. Some animals may be higher due to medical costs, etc. associated with a particular animal. Along with an application, a home visit is usually required PRIOR to an adoption being approved.
