Save A Pet is a no-kill, volunteer-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, and does not receive any federal, state or local funding. All donations are tax deductible and are spent on the care and upkeep of pets. We have three paid part-time kennel employees; none of our officers or directors receive compensation.

Pursuant to Georgia law, organizations and people who solicit contributions from the public for charitable purposes are required to register with the Georgia Secretary of State prior to accepting any money. Save A Pet renews its registration every two years in order to be able to solicit donations within the state of Georgia. Our registration number is CH#06362. Donations made from outside Georgia must be made through our secure online partner, Network for Good, to meet the solicitation registration requirements. We accept one-time donations as well as recurring donations at your choice of intervals. All one-time donations will be acknowledged with a printed/mailed receipt. Donors who make recurring donations are provided an annual giving statement.
